  3.     RTTY Operation

  5.         RTTY is similar to AMTOR operation.
  6.  
  7.                 To switch to Transmit.
  8.  
  9.                         Press the Page Up Key.
  10.  
  11.                 To switch to Receive.
  12.  
  13.                         Press the Page Down Key.
  14.  
  15.         Calling CQ on RTTY
  16.  
  17.              To call an automatic CQ press the F5 function key. This
  18.              will start the CQ sequence as described in the Setup Menu
  19.              section of this document. To abort the CQ press any key.
  20.  
  21.              The CQ will be prefixed an a line of 'RY' characters to
  22.              allow another station to synchronize to your signal.
  23.  
  24.         Calling Another Station on RTTY
  25.  
  26.              1. Press the F3 key and enter the other stations call.
  27.  
  28.              2. Press the 'Alt-F5' keys to send a call in the form of:
  29.                 "W0AAA W0AAA DE W0BBB W0BBB W0BBB KKK".

  31.         Changing Receive Inversion
  32.  
  33.              To change the state of the receive inversion, press 'CTRL
  34.              R'.
  35.  
  36.         Changing Transmit Inversion
  37.  
  38.              To change the state of the transmit inversion, press 'CTRL
  39.              T'.
  40.  
  41.         Controlling the Received / Transmitted Shift
  42.  
  43.              To change the shift from Narrow to Wide or Wide to Narrow,
  44.              press 'CTRL W'. Remember only narrow shift is allowed for
  45.              Amateur HF operation.
  46.  
  47.         To Change the Baud Rate
  48.  
  49.              Press 'Alt +' to increase baud rate (NORMAL Keys).
  50.              Press 'Alt -' to decrease baud rate (NORMAL Keys).
  51.
